Burger King hold Whoopers hostage to explain Net Neutrality
Do you know what Net Neutrality really is? Neither do we.
So here’s Burger King explaining Net Neutrality in the most simple and engaging way they could. After the anti-bullying campaign Burger King did last year, they have decide to get behind Net Neutrality and promote it in-store.
In the video below you see real customer reactions to being charged differently for their Whooper according to the different serving times. Customers who paid more got their Whooper in no time while those who paid the regular price had to wait longer. So would you pay more to get your Whooper faster?

David Miami is the agency behind this campaign, they have been coming up with innovative ways to deliver such message for Burger King campaigns for the last few years.
More companies and brands are becoming vocal about issues they stand behind, and it’s proving to be a powerful marketing tool. If the issue aligns with the companies values, politically-inspired campaigns become some of the most engaging content for their customers who value the same things. Likely building greater brand loyalty as well.
Have you noticed this trend? What other brands are doing this well…or not so well? Feel free to share your insight in the comments below.
