Facebook users all around the world have been patiently awaiting the social network’s response to the Cambridge Analytica scandal. And while there hasn’t been much user resolution on the issue, Facebook is taking steps to ensure their users are aware of how their product(s) and data collection works moving forward. In doing so, Facebook released an updated Terms of Service and Data Use Policy for users to review and evaluate accordingly. Along with that, the social network refreshed their settings page to a more user-friendly and intuitive interface. Your account settings, security options, etc. are now easily understood and provide insight into each category, and what personal info is managed within each subcategory. Example below:
